Great product, good price and fairly easy to erect with two people. Look great with my caravan inside. Would definitely recommend this.

I am buying a third car but only had a two-car garage and wanted to protect it from the sun, falling debris and snow. I found this carport on the internet and after measuring my existing space discovered it would fit perfectly. I was a little worried that this would be difficult to build and would not fit the space. After much deliberation, I decided to buy it. It was delivered by a tractor-trailer truck in 3 rectangular boxes and fairly easy to manage. Before starting the assembly I studied the instructions carefully and gathered all the tools necessary to assemble. That would include a 2-3′ level, a hammer drill, masonry drills to anchor the posts to the concrete pad or footing, drill bits to drill through a number of metal parts, a set of metric wrenches and sockets, a Philips head screwdriver. If you do decide to buy this make sure you have prepared the space in advance. The dimension drawings available for the layout of the posts are accurate so be confident that you can install your piers or concrete slab in advance. I found the directions not too bad but there were some confusing parts so make sure to study them carefully. I took the time to organize all the parts into new bags by type. There are so many size screws, washers, bolts etc. I found it very helpful to do this in advance. There are so some youtube videos you can watch that show the overall construction sequence which also kept me from making mistakes. Make sure you have a large area that is flat where you can build out each set of components. This is important especially when you build the side beams/gutters. I have the extension so had to build and add that into the middle of the overall gutter/beam. I first constructed all the bases to the posts and then added the mounts on the top of the post that accepts the curved beams. I then assembled the beams themselves, I then constructed the two side beam/gutter units. Once all that was assembled I laid out two posts at a time and installed to them the curved arches. If you are erecting this on a slab I suggest laying out where the posts will roughly go in advance. I did this with a measuring tape and I used a chalk line to snap the four lines that would provide me a reference to where the post assemblies would go when erected. I erected each assembly (3) and used boards and would working hand clamps to keep them upright and to make sure they were level/plum. Once all three sections were in place I could then connect them with the gutter /beam assemblies that I previously prepared. Once I had them all bolted together the carport was free-standing. From this point on just follow the instructions to the very end. Note: when you have assembled the roof structure and are ready to install the panels make sure you have two other people to push down the panels. If you don’t you will struggle. I actually assembled all the panels and then using a long 2X4 and a bunch of hand clamps compressed the panels down to where I could bolt them to the sides. This pretty advanced and takes experience that is why I say just get some extra hands to help with this task. Make sure you have a few step ladders for this task. Other than that it is so beautiful and everything is well-engineered and everything fits perfectly. If this had been built in China I think there would have been misaligned holes along with other poorly fitted parts making this a lot more challenging to build. But since it is built in Israel the quality is amazing!
